Re: phlebotomy
Fri, September 15, 2006 - 9:48 PMI did it in a semester at CCSF. Then there's the ~8 month wait for the state cert to actually reach you. When I took the class (Fall 2004), there were more students than spaces in the class. A lot of people were turned away.
Be wary of the private schools, especially small ones. Some cut corners on supplies and hours and safety. You'll get a better education if you wait for a space in an accredited community college than if you go for the "right now" option. -

Re: phlebotomy
Sat, December 2, 2006 - 12:51 PMAnyone know of any phlebotomy training in Sac?
I'm already pretty adept at veinipuncture(I work in a women's clinic), but I'd like to be certified so that I have more jobs available to me - plus I'd like to learn more skills.
Any help'd be appreciated.
Thanks!
